Bledsoe County 4H Club
The Bledsoe County 4-H Program provides Mary V. Wheeler Elementary School's fourth and fifth grade students with valuable opportunities to develop leadership, citizenship, and life skills through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Representatives from the Bledsoe County UT Extension Office meet with students once each month to deliver interactive lessons that support personal growth, responsibility, teamwork, and community involvement.
Throughout the school year, students participate in activities that promote character development, decision-making, public speaking, agriculture and natural resources awareness, health and wellness, STEM exploration, and service learning. These monthly sessions complement classroom instruction by helping students build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and apply critical thinking in real-world situations.
The partnership between Mary V. Wheeler Elementary School and the Bledsoe County 4-H Program enriches the educational experience for our students by fostering leadership, encouraging positive citizenship, and preparing students with skills that will benefit them both in school and in their future endeavors.
