Hello.

I am Ms. Joyce, and I am so excited to be teaching second grade! This is the beginning of my 22nd year as an educator. 17 of those years have been spent here at MVW. I have taught first, second, third, seventh, and eighth grades. I am very happy to be teaching the lower grades again!

I live in the Griffith Community with my husband, Dean, our daughter, Willow, our two cats, Cricket and Zuzu, and our two dogs, Blue and Chloe.

I was raised in the Cold Springs Community in the valley. My dad is Snake Angel and my mom is Barbara Angel. My paternal grandmother, Emma Angel was also an educator. She later married Aaron Worthington who lived here on the mountain. My maternal great-grandparents worked on the Wheeler farm before a portion of it was donated for our school to be built.
